However, there exist a lot of confusion regarding their roles. Many men are confused and insecure. One of the main reasons for this is the lack of a good role model for leadership at home and they have no mental picture of what it means to lead a family. The Bible makes it clear that while men and women are inherently equal (Gen. 127, I Cor. 1111-12), the man is to take the leadership role in the home (Eph. 522-24, I Pet. 31-7, I Cor. 113,7-10, Gen. 126-27, Gen. 5, Gen. 1819 etc.).
